OK, so it took me long enough to write this…..I’ve been using my Tilt for about 9 months now and I have to say it is a very good device.  I still think that AT&T has waaaay more dropped calls than Verizon and T-Mobile.  For example, I was in Redmond with a 3 other coworkers and we were traveling in a van together.  3 of us have AT&T service, the 4th has T-Mobile.  We’re all on a conference call together and all the sudden, myself and the other 2 guys with AT&T get disconnected yet the T-Mobile guy stays on.  I drive the same road route as a couple of my Verzon friends, while I get disconnected about 4 times during my 30 mile commute, they get disconnected maybe once.  Damn two year contract….

 

Anywho, back to the Tilt.  Great device.  Just upgraded it to 6.1 and ran into a strange problem.  I haven’t figured out what triggers this but when checking my email, I notice that my phone sounds are set to "Off".  This happens 2-3 times a day and started happening when I flashed my ROM to WM6.1.  Did some searches and came up with nothing.  If I find the issue I’ll post it here.  Honestly the greatest thing about the Tilt is GPS for me.  GPS + Windows Live Mobile has saved me so many times when lost or just looking for a nearby store in an area I’m not familiar with.  I would definitely recommend this phone to anyone who doesn’t mind their battery dying in a day :).
